This series came from a number of boxes marked B/1, B/2 and so on. It is unclear when this 'B' series was compiled or for what purpose, but it has been kept together in accordance with the principle of original order.
The series contains files on a number of financial planning and policy subjects similar to those covered in ACGB/13. These include; audits, charities, correspondence with the Department of Education and Science, the Office of Arts and Libraries and the Treasury, the Dr Thomas Jones Memorial Fund and the Thornton Bequest, Housing the Arts, taxes, the TKTS Scheme, etc.

Former 'B' references have been recorded, but the files have been arranged chronologically.
Restrictions on access
Access to unpublished material less than 30 years old is subject to the written permission of the Arts Council of England. Apply in the first instance to the Archive of Art and Design at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
