Scope and content

These files belonged to Margaret Hyde and Mary Allen, Deputy Secretary-Generals for the years 1991 and 1992-1994 respectively. They document their liaison with the work of the Policy and Planning Unit of the Policy and External Relations Division.

The files relate to the Deputy Secretary-General's work with the RAAs, the arts advisory boards, Council administration and a variety of committees and projects. There are also papers relating to the Council's reforms and restructuring.
