About V&A Publishing

V&A Publishing makes beautiful, innovative and popular books on art and design that sell all over the world. Working to generate profit for the V&A, we publish around 30 books and digital products a year under the V&A Publishing imprint, on subjects as diverse as fashion and textiles, design and the decorative arts, theatre, pattern, craft and fine art. We have over 180 books in print.

Our books are highly illustrated and provide accessible information about the Museum’s collections and exhibitions. We aim to provide not just descriptions of objects, but to put the collections in context. Our publishing gives insights into different worlds, societies and historic periods, from the middle ages right up to the present, and from all over the world.

Trade Sales and Distribution
