William Shakespeare was born 450 years ago on 23 April 1564. To celebrate the V&A asked you to design, make and decorate a cake inspired by the Bard, then upload your entries to Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #Cakespeare. Many thanks to all of those that participated we had some amazing entries. We are very happy to announce that the winner, as chosen by master baker Jane Asher, is Meriel @aislesofwonder for her impressive 450th birthday sleepover cake.
