Learn about the evolution of guitar style and songwriting from Nigel Jones, resident guitarist of the Handel/Hendrix House Museum. From rhythm and blues to the Beatles, to britpop and 90s indie, explore the evolution of guitar playing through just 3 chords. Following the talk, there will be a practical workshop where you can put the ideas discussed into practice.

Nigel Jones is a prolific musician and experienced music teacher who has taught thousands of students in schools and colleges over the last 15 years. He is a member of the Registry of Guitar Teachers and teaches all musical styles and levels, with a particular passion for Jimi Hendrix’s style and technique.
The Handel/Hendrix House Museum in London celebrates the lives of two great musicians, who lived in the same space, 210 years apart.
