This workshop is designed to take musicians, producers and composers from zero coding experience to live coding of musical patterns in TidalCycles, and all the way through to integration with your existing creative workflow.
You will learn how to install all the tools you will need for live coding and music production, and how to read and write TidalCycles code to make musical patterns. You will also learn how to send TidalCycles' output as multi-track audio for recording in Digital Audio Workstations, and as MIDI or OSC to control external synthesisers and generators.
