Painted Silk Scarves

Using our major exhibition ‘Cars: Accelerating the World’ as a starting point, explore your creativity with renowned textile designer Sarah Campbell, designing your own motif or pattern which you will then hand-paint on to a silk scarf. Sarah will guide you through a range of techniques, encouraging you to create your own wearable work of art to take away.

Internationally acclaimed textile designer Sarah Campbell co-founded the renowned design partnership Collier Campbell with her sister Susan Collier; they worked together for more than fifty years. Sarah continues working as a designer and painter of patterns; she's also is a design tutor, speaker and educator.
