Plastic bags, sterling silver
'The plastic bag ring was made by ironing torn pieces of the bag between two sheets of paper. The plastic could then be formed quite easily whilst it was still warm. The sterling silver shank was made from scrap pieces of silver wire which were formed into rings and soldered then together. This was then attached to the plastic with some sterling silver wire drawn into a ball at the end. At present I have no issue with using scrap sterling from the bench for findings, however, the found material will always be the main focus of the piece.'
