V&A + RIBA Study & Teaching Rooms
The Victoria & Albert and the RIBA provide study facilities and teaching rooms at the V&A offering access to an outstanding resource of architectural material. The RIBA British Architectural Library, which includes the RIBA Photographs Collection, is based at 66, Portland Place, London.
V&A + RIBA online workshops
The RIBA British Architectural Library and the V&A jointly possess the finest architectural archive in Europe, a free and publicly accessible learning resource for all. Our six online workshops are based on images and material drawn from the archive and can be used to explore our collections and different themes in architecture.
In 2004 RIBA and the V&A opened the first museum gallery in the country dedicated to architecture in the UK. It provides an accessible and engaging introduction to the art, use and practice of architecture. On display are models, drawings and designs, and samples of materials, as well as photographs and fragments of buildings.
