Our Cast Courts contain some of the most spectacular objects in the museum, including reproductions of Michelangelo's David and Trajan's Column, as well as intimate copies showcasing the incredible diversity of objects across the collection.

In this video a plaster cast of Adriaen de Vries' Seated Girl is created, demonstrating the complex process involved in transforming liquid plaster mix into a fully assembled, painted piece.
