If your school is a secondary state school within the boroughs of Barnet, Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, RBKC or Westminster you could qualify for free outreach sessions and free exclusive CPD events plus half price workshops supporting Art, Craft & Design. This initiative is generously supported by John Lyon’s Charity and is available during the 2013/14 academic year.

All workshops have been devised in collaboration with design professionals and offer insight into contemporary practice. The workshops use iconic museum objects to explain design processes and aim to enhance students’ learning of the Design & Technology and Art & Design curriculum.

Half-price Workshops:

We are offering 50% off all Art, Craft & Design workshops (normally £150).  Workshops are led by professional artists and designers and explore the museum's vast collections through cutting edge contemporary practice. Details of all available workshops and dates can be found here: Workshops for Art & Design and D&T Secondary Students

Free Outreach Sessions:

We are offering exciting 2 hour outreach sessions with designer-maker Jasleen Kaur, a recent RCA graduate. Students will be introduced to Jasleen's practice and given a series of short, fun hands–on design challenges.

A gift in your will

You may not have thought of including a gift to a museum in your will, but the V&A is a charity and legacies form an important source of funding for our work. It is not just the great collectors and the wealthy who leave legacies to the V&A. Legacies of all sizes, large and small, make a real difference to what we can do and your support can help ensure that future generations enjoy the V&A as much as you have.
