Step into a realm of wonder and explore the imaginative works of emerging and award-winning children's book illustrators.
Featuring artwork from five emerging illustrators and their acclaimed mentors, the display includes finished artworks, alongside sketchbook and working drawings, offering a sneak peek into the process of creating a captivating picture book.
Our Designer in Residence Studio has also been transformed into a colourful family-friendly reading space. Drop in throughout the day and enjoy a story!
About Picture Hooks
Picture Hooks provides opportunity and development for emerging picture book illustrators.
This year, emerging talents Rebecca Guthrie, Phoebe Roze, Aline Monda, Olu Oke and Clare Andrews, were mentored by acclaimed illustrators Chris Haughton, Jill Calder, Alison Murray, Anna Wilson and Steve Antony.
