With London Design Festival just around the corner our Artists in Residence have been busy creating their displays. While they have been keeping things quite secretive I managed to get a few sneaky photos of what Nao Mastunaga, our Ceramics Resident, has been working on.
Can you figure out what he has made? How big is it? Is it the surface of the Moon? What kind of materials is he using? All will be revealed on the 13th of September when you can see his installation in Gallery 64b, Medieval and Renaissance, until the 21st of September.
Nao will also be opening his studio during the festival on 13, 14, 16, 17, 19 & 20 September from 13.00 – 16.00. Come have a chat with Nao and meet some of the mythical beasts that are lurking around his studio.
