We are pleased to offer our exciting interactive gallery tours for free. These focussed tours immerse students in a topic in the galleries. They encourage discussion of original objects, explain historical contexts and investigate different approaches to art and design. A great way to develop sketchbook research and gain inspiration for Art & Design, D&T and Performing Arts projects.

Explore the national collection of photography. Learn about key figures of photographic history including Julia Margaret Cameron, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Diane Arbus

Talking Performance

Find out how live shows are put together, look at iconic poster and set designs such as those by John Piper, Edward Burra and Edward Gordon Craig, try on costumes and have your photo taken dressed as an Elizabethan actress or Pantomime character.
