[Natasha Richardson] I feel that specifically in the classical theatre plays like this one, like The Lady from the Sea, is you are walking a tightrope, you are taking huge risks all the time and it can so easily tip over into melodrama. And unless you walk that tightrope with a hundred percent commitment there’s no point, it becomes safe and manageable and rather dull. So I hope I’m learning to be brave.
