8 OMG outfits at the BRIT Awards

What would you wear to the BRIT Awards red carpet? This annual event has been showcasing the best of British music since 1977, and in that time, there have been some truly iconic fashion moments. We’ve picked some of the most OMG outfits that make us immediately want to try and upcycle our own wardrobe to recreate the best-dressed looks. Amy Winehouse had a wickedly unique style and this acid yellow “power dress” by Preen was the perfect choice for Amy, who was awarded Best British Female Artist in 2007 at the BRIT Awards.

The designer Harikrishnan Keezhathil Surendran Pillai said this amazing black inflatable jumpsuit was inspired by some mean comments Sam Smith received about their physique. This costume represented empowerment of the body and all shapes and sizes. What a unique and bold outfit!

Rihanna wow’d the crowd back in 2011 with this stunning floral and tulle turquoise Christian Dior gown. Rihanna won ‘Best International Female Artist’ that year, and what a gown to be wearing to receive such an award!

Lady Gaga paid tribute to the late designer, Alexander McQueen in 2010 with this three tiered white “cake” dress custom-made by Francesco Scognamiglio. Gaga is never afraid to push the boundaries of style, and this was no exception. She kept the white theme with the lace mask and beehive blonde wig. Fabulous!
