The Tower of Babel – Shop of the Day 91
As we move towards the midway point of the 200 Shop of the Day countdown!!! (crickey that puts the wind up me) I thought I would give you my personal favourite 10 shops, in no particular order…today we find ourselves at 61 Brick Lane, Whitechapel and this has got to be one of the best shop fronts in The Tower. Never one to necessarily live by less is more, this shop has everything. Gift Shop, Travel Agent (including old style phone number), Chicken Shop, Mini Cab, Cash Machine, Side doors, Flats to let, postcards. Just wonderful. I may even have to bagsy this one for myself….
