Graphic Design Video Tutorial: How to make a font

Are you a fan of typography, hand lettering and graphic design? Totally into typeface? In this short video tutorial, meet Graphic Designer Charlie Abbott and learn about how to make a font – specifically how to make your own unique modular font!

Charlie explains how you can make a modular font by breaking a word down into simple shapes which you can then rearrange, like a game, to create your own unique font.

Give it a watch, then have a go yourself. What form will your own personalised font take?

Materials: paper, pens, scissors.

Just a quick random question – you don’t have to answer it if you don’t want to.
