Dance the night away: an audio tour of Night Fever

We want everyone to be able to enjoy our exhibitions. As part of our digital access programme, we produced an audio described tour of ‘Night Fever: Designing Club Culture’ to bring the show to life in a different way.

In September 2021, we recorded artist and describer Tessa Asquith-Lamb as she described the exhibition to her friend, Anne Dignan. Listen as they tour the exhibition together and describe the sights, sounds and feelings it evokes.

Tessa Asquith-Lamb is an artist, printmaker and art educator who has worked as a visual describer for over 10 years for the National Galleries of Scotland visually impaired programme. During lockdown she has produced many video described tours for the City Art Centre Edinburgh on a variety of exhibitions. She loves describing artworks and bringing exhibitions alive for all audiences.

Night Fever: Designing Club Culture is on now until Sunday 9 January 2022.
