Welcome to Scotland's design destination
We are Scotland's design museum, on a mission to inspire and empower through design.
We advocate for the power of design – as both extraordinary and brilliantly ordinary, shaping our daily lives. V&A Dundee brings design from all over the world to Scotland and gives a new platform to Scottish designers.
V&A Dundee 2028
2028 will be the tenth birthday of the museum. We have learnt so much from our visitors already. We know you love the extraordinary architecture and want a beautiful, relaxing space to spend time with the people who are important to you, to escape from the world outside, and to explore your passion for creativity.
With the support of £2.6 million from the UK Government, we are redesigning our free Scottish Design Galleries and the broader visitor experience from the moment you walk in. We will create a warmer, more welcoming museum, building on the success of our major exhibitions and learning from your feedback.
