V&A Dundee: Now and Next

Philip Long reflects on the museum’s first year and what’s coming up in 2020

One of the largest, most ambitious cultural projects in Scotland for many years, V&A Dundee opened to the public in September 2018 as a new international design centre with a mission to enrich lives through design. One year on, Director Philip Long looks back on our first year and offers a sneak peek of our exciting future programme.

Our Lunchtime Talks include a range of amazing speakers unearthing little-known stories of Scottish design with international impact. Feel free to bring your lunch, or a coffee from the café.
