Can a Robot be My Friend?

Design, code and construct your own robotic friend to help you communicate your personality to others

What makes a friend? Is it the ability to talk to each other? Understand each other?

In this workshop you’ll explore some of the different types of tech available for use in the classroom and consider how robots can become our friends. Through the development of your coding skills, questions of language and communication will be considered.

This CLPL will not only provide inspiration for learning activities but will also allow for the practical application of different approaches to teaching coding and communication.

Join Bioengineer and Researcher Rolf Black from the University of Dundee to explore these ideas and create your own robotic friend.
