Amplifying Voices: Women in Scottish Architecture

Wednesday 8 March 2023

From modernism to modern day, help us celebrate women working in the built environment.

Date & time Wednesday 8 March, 13.00 - 14.00

Location Juniper Auditorium

Free

Join us on International Women’s Day for an in-museum conversation, led by architect and Voices of Experience co-founder Jude Barber, and featuring special guest speakers.

Led by Suzanne Ewing, Jude Barber and Nicola McLachlan, Voices of Experience investigates women working in the built environment in Scotland and beyond. The project amplifies, uncovers, and documents their contributions - shining a bright light on women's work and capturing knowledge before it is lost.

To do this, the team pairs experienced women architects and other contributors with professionals at the outset of their career for intergenerational, site-specific conversations centered on exploring lived experience, knowledge sharing and finding connection.
