To celebrate our major exhibitions, Catwalk: The Art of the Fashion Show and David Bowie: On Tour, join us for an unforgettable late-night takeover. After Hours: We Can Be Heroes is a full museum activation, bringing together live band performances, DJ sets, installations, pop-up bars and exhibition access, with more exciting announcements still to come.

This event is 18+ and will contain flashing lights.

The Last Dinner Party (DJ Set)

Lizzie and Aurora from The Last Dinner Party will close the evening with a DJ set curated by the full band. The Mercury Prize-nominated and Brit Award-winning band topped the Scottish and UK charts with their debut album Prelude to Ecstasy. As a group, they guest curated displays at the David Bowie Centre at V&A East Storehouse.

Lucia & The Best Boys

Lucia & The Best Boys is an alt-pop band led by Scottish songwriter and fashion model Lucia Fairfull. The band’s latest album, Picking Petals, is an ode to belonging, and features guest vocals from Abigail Morris (The Last Dinner Party) and Lauren Mayberry (CHVRCHES). Lucia is an ambassador for Catwalk: The Art of the Fashion Show, and is the face of the exhibition campaign.

Charting the dramatic evolution of the catwalk, from the private salons of the late 19th century to today’s immersive, live-streamed runway experiences, Catwalk is a celebration of over 100 years of runway history.
