Exploring design fundamentals to spark creative thinking

Are you a creative struggling with an artistic slump? Join us for a hands-on workshop exploring the fundamentals of design as a means of giving life to stagnant projects. Through a series of experimental practical exercises using grids, thread, and a variety of materials, designers Malak Al-Chmari and Arati Ahmed will guide you to overcome creative barriers.

Open to anyone aged 16+ from any creative background, this workshop offers space space to connect with other makers while developing your creative problem-solving skills.

Participants are welcome to come with a project in mind, but no preparation is required. Whether you're looking to start something new, refresh an existing idea, or simply try a different way of making, this workshop will encourage curiosity, experimentation and creative confidence.
