Educators Preview - Kimono: Kyoto to Catwalk

Thursday 16 May

How can an exhibition about Kimono support learning?

Join our curators for a talk about Kimono: Kyoto to Catwalk followed by free entry to the exhibition so you can explore the themes at your own pace.

Think afresh about this iconic garment – Made of only seven pieces: How is this garment able to tell a story spanning centuries? As well as influencing contemporary designers/makers? How might your learners curiosity be sparked?

This is a great opportunity for all educators to see the exhibition, then consider and discuss how it can inspire meaningful learning back in the classroom and community.

It’s also a chance to meet our Learning Team to book a FREE tour for your group, as well as discuss further opportunities to engage with the exhibition.
