Drop in throughout the holidays for a family-friendly daily design challenge, inspired by Donna Wilson’s The Creature Collective.

Our team of designers will be on hand to help you design your own unique, weird and wonderful creative characters to transform our learning studio. There are no rules!

With over 100 ‘perfectly imperfect’ handmade creatures on display in the museum, there are lots of new friends to meet. From Cyril Squirrel Fox to Joey Giraffe, Wilfred Wolf and many more, pick up an activity trail and explore their playful personalities with a game of Guess Who!

On the big screen check out the Shaping Stories video WILD Party!, created with dance company Shaper Caper, inspired by animals, beasties and things with wings from the Scottish Design Galleries. Dance, dress up and snap a family selfie with our cool collection of nature-inspired costumes.

This activity is suitable for families of all shapes and sizes.
