Make your football kit your own work of art in this free drop-in workshop with embroidery artist, designer, and custom kit sensation Diana Al Shammari, aka The Football Gal.

From intricate hand embroidery lessons to experimenting with fabric paint, accessories, and custom buttons, this workshop invites participants of all skill levels to make their favourite kit unique.

Please note, this is a drop-in workshop and will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. All ages are welcome. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

About Diana Al Shammari

Diana is a designer and embroiderer known for transforming sportswear into one-of-a-kind embroidered artworks. Working under the name The Football Gal, her practice sits at the intersection of sport, fashion, craft and storytelling. Her work often explores identity, heritage, nostalgia and the emotional connection people have to sport and culture.

Over the past few years, Diana has collaborated with brands including Adidas, Puma, Nike and Hummel, created bespoke pieces for athletes and campaigns, and led workshops across Europe focused on creativity, customisation, and contemporary craft within sport. Her work has been featured by publications including the Financial Times, Vogue UK, and L'Équipe.
