About the artists:
Evie Rose Thornton: Future Landscapes: Mussels
These sculptural works are a response to research into mussels and oysters as a source of blue carbon and the role they could play in protecting the coastline from sea level rise and flooding.
Among a myriad of benefits, mussel and oyster beds have the potential to affect wave attenuation, taking the energy out of the sea and lessening the damage caused to dunes and flood defences. The metal works echo the curves of the oyster and mussel shells creating curves and lines for the mussels to attach to.

Gordon Bicker: Froggy Sanctuary
Froggy Sanctuary is a first-person adventure platformer game where the main design goals were centred around creating levels which were inclusive of various needs of members of the public in mind from the ground-up of development.
All in all, the project aims to bring great enjoyment to both younger and older audiences as you immerse yourself in fun Froggy chaos and navigate levels which have been tailored for inclusivity. Accessible level design is an exciting area which has plenty of potential for being looked into more within the industry, this project is Gordon's interpretation and development based on the area.

Iris Iesan: DeliveRoutes
DeliveRoutes is a project based on replayability and strategy. Players first draw cards and place tiles and obstacles in order to create a city's infrastructure and then trace their routes to find who is faster.
The game's simple set of rules offers many possibilities and strategies suited for different playstyles, similar in spirit to Chess. DeliveRoutes' random elements, such as its varying delivery locations and deck of cards are made to ensure a fresh experience any time a new round starts.

Honor Gibson: Big Bloody Racket
In a world that often measures worth by money-making ability, many are dissuaded from pursuing activities purely for the sake of enjoyment. Big Bloody Racket challenges this notion head-on - utilising an interactive museum space to create a playful group music experience.
The objects are designed to take the pressure away from the inherent performative nature of playing an instrument, and encourage child-like engagement with our surroundings. Taking advantage of the naturally experimental features present in physical instruments, and combining them with the varied outputs of digital music-making creates an environment that fosters experimentation and low-pressure music creation.

Ugo Ogwuda TV Dinner
TV Dinner is an animated anthology of satirical TV commercials and shows featuring characters based on food. An animated version of the lead animator Ugo Ogwuda bridges each section together, reacting to clips as he watches from his couch.
With Ugo at the helm of the project storyboarding and animating, he also brought almost every student from the 4th year animation class together for part of the project. Ugo co-ordinated each storyboard artist, animator, SFX designer, and sound designer together to create a showreel of the very best of this years animation graduates.
