A behind the scenes peak at our dynamic new exhibition Kimono: Kyoto to Catwalk

Join Kimono: Kyoto to Catwalk curator Anna Jackson to learn more about how the world-class exhibition came to life. Your ticket also includes access to the Kimono exhibition space for the duration of the evening alongside a complimentary drink served in Tatha Bar & Kitchen.

The talk will run from 19.00 - 20.00. Tatha Bar & Kitchen and Kimono: Kyoto to Catwalk are open throughout the evening. Our design shop will also be open from 20.00 - 21.00.

About the speaker:

Anna Jackson is the Keeper of the Asian Department at V&A South Kensington. A specialist in Japanese textiles and dress she has written widely on the subject. Most recently she curated the exhibition Kimono: Kyoto to Catwalk and edited the accompanying publication. In 2020, she was awarded the Foreign Minister`s Commendation for the promotion of Japanese culture in the United Kingdom.
