My Muses Take Care of Me

Friday 8 March - Saturday 9 March 2024

A series of pop-up dance performances in celebration of International Women's Day

Choreographed by Fleur Darkin, My Muses Take Care of Me is a dynamic conversation between bodies and wild sculptural pieces by French visual artist Claire-Rose Barbier.

Drawing on themes of ancient feminine power, armoury and the presence of nature, the company carry audiences on a journey through life, death, love and regeneration.

My Muses Take Care Of Me is a new work for a specially-assembled cast of powerful, singular performers: Amy Hollinshead (rehearsal director/dancer), Melissa Kieffer (dancer, facilitator, teacher), Rudzani Moleya (movement artist and healer) and George H. Wale (visual artist/costume designer).

You can download the programme to find out more about the performers here.
