Drop in throughout the summer holidays for a family-friendly design challenge!

Our studio has been transformed with a big and bold new design by illustrator Bjorn Lie.

Taking inspiration from the Garden Futures: Designing with Nature exhibition themes of gardens as places of paradise, this lush painted mural is full of wonder, wildlife and whimsy.

Friendly designers will be on hand to help your sketch and snip your own unique paper designs of every scale, from tiny trees and big blooms to woodland wreaths, itsy insects and giant garlands. You can choose to share your design with the world on our studio wall, wear it with style, or take it away to brighten your home!

There will be lots of stories, instruments and toys to explore. Don't forget to dress up and snap a family selfie with our flora and fauna inspired costumes!

Our daily summer studio drop-in activities are free and suitable for families of all shapes and sizes.
