Plastic Lab Weekender
Celebrate Plastic: Remaking Our World with a weekend of workshops, activities and more led by local partners.
As we say farewell to [Plastic: Remaking Our World](https://www.vam.ac.uk/dundee/exhibitions/plastic) </u>, join us for a jam-packed two days and meet local organisations tackling issues of plastic waste, sustainability, and recycling. Drop-in to workshops, take part in activities and meet local experts, activists and designers to learn more about the problem and the promise of plastic.
In the Weston Studio Nicky Wilkie from local environmental charity Dighty Connect will read from her popular book, “A Day in the Life of Fin”, about a fish called Fin who gets tangled with plastic waste in the Dighty Burn. You will also get the chance to find out more about Dighty Connect and discover how plastic waste was used to create stunning illustrations.
Meanwhile, in the upper foyer, join ScrapAntics to create your very own keyring out of everyday recycled plastics! In this fun and sustainable workshop, use your creativity – and with support from their friendly artists – to design and make a colourful keyring to take away with you.
All drop-in activities are free, suitable for ages 4+ with adult supervision. All materials and equipment are provided.
