Hosted in the splendour of Charles Renee Mackintosh’s Oak Room, this month’s tour shares the fascinating story of Miss Catherine Cranston, a leading figure in the Glasgow’s tearooms in the early twentieth century.

Join one of our guides to learn more about Catherine's story and the rise in popularity of the tearoom as a space for women and social change.

This tour will start at the entrance to the Scottish Design Gallery on Level 2 and gallery stools are available.
