The Dr Susan Weber Gallery is now open.

This new gallery, located alongside the Ceramics Study Galleries, presents the Museum’s outstanding collection of British and international furniture from the 15th century to the present day. It focuses on questions of form, function, and techniques of construction and decoration in the creation of furniture for over six hundred years.

This gallery has been supported by the American Friends of the Victoria and Albert Museum through the generosity of Dr. Susan Weber.

This development is part of FuturePlan

FuturePlan is transforming the V&A by revitalising visitor facilities and redisplaying the collections. Using the best architects and designers, we are bringing the V&A into the 21st century and restoring modern design and innovation to the heart of the museum.
