I work as an assistant curator in the Furniture, Textiles and Fashion Department, with research interests in eighteenth and nineteenth-century British furniture, particularly British japanning and its relation to Asian lacquer, and pictorial marble tables from Britain and Malta. I am also reviewing the research files we hold on furniture, and uncovering a wide variety of archival records.
