Making Design 1900 – Now

Making Design 1900 – Now gives a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of a new gallery dedicated to 20th-century and contemporary design at the V&A. Partially developed during the COVID-19 pandemic and with new workplace restrictions in place, the process was at times challenging, but always interesting. This blog series shares insights from colleagues across all the different teams involved in making the gallery happen, from conservation, curatorial, interpretation, design and technical services.
