First two weeks of residency, from Jan 5th to 16th, 2009.
Though it’s not easy getting over the feeling of complete wonderment at being given a studio at the V&A in which to work,you do have to put your feelings aside a little, in order to focus on the task at hand.
In between the times where I wander around in awe at the enormity of the Museum, and it’s beauty, and meeting tons of smiling people who work at the Museum, I’m also figuring out what the next appropriate steps to take would be, in order to get my proposed project under way.
One thing’s for sure – it’s mind blowing just being here.
