Fashion industry insight for students and young people

November 17, 2022

To celebrate the success of the second Upstart Creative Careers festival for schools and young people, we’re sharing our Fashion & Identity webinar for Secondary Schools.

Be inspired by the presenters in this session as they discuss key themes within fashion design, styling and identity.

Fashion and Identity Webinar

What is it to be ‘masculine’ in today’s increasingly gender aware landscape? Linking to the exhibition, Fashioning Masculinities, this webinar gives viewers the opportunity to explore historical and contemporary designers and key themes from the show through the lens of a practicing designer.

Beginning with an introduction to the Fashioning Masculinities exhibition by curator, Claire Wilcox, the webinar then features a presentation from fashion designer and creative director, Abigail Ajobi.
