V&A Innovate Talks: Teacher Insights

The V&A Innovate National Schools Challenge is back for 2022 – 23. To support schools planning to deliver the challenge, we asked three teachers to share their experiences of taking part. Watch back this talk to get inspiration, tips and ideas for how you could run V&A Innovate in your setting.

Kate Windle and Tracey Shahlavi share how they delivered V&A Innovate as part of their Year 8 curriculum with a textiles focus, and Sarah Dowley explores how she ran it as an after-school club.  

Starting with an introduction to this year’s themes – Adapt, Care, Disrupt – the talk gives an overview of the different online resources available to teachers and students to support delivery.  

V&A Innovate is an annual National Schools Challenge asking students in years 7, 8 and 9 to design a solution to a real-world problem. Find out more and discover free resources on our website.
