Are you ready to design virtual worlds? Apply to PORTALS, the new immersive design programme for young people which examines the power of interactive design.
From exploring galleries to scanning 3D objects, you’ll learn the skills to create digital environments for storytelling, performance, theatre or video games. Over 14 sessions at the V&A South Kensington and online, you’ll hear from experts and gain hands-on 3D design skills. Concluding with a public showcase at the V&A, you’ll also leave with a selection of portfolio-ready work.
The course includes:
- Technical instruction in storytelling and 3D design for immersive projects
- Mentoring from industry experts
- Portfolio and branding guidance
Who can apply?
If you’re aged 18–26 and passionate about digital design, gaming, or immersive storytelling, this is your opportunity to experiment, connect, and make something extraordinary.
Fifteen young people will be selected to take part. There are no degree requirements for applying.
