With just over two weeks to go before the winners are announced, the judges of the 2017 V&A Illustration Awards have whittled down the entries from nearly a thousand to just three in each category. On the 16th of May we’ll find out the winners of the awards for:
Book Illustration, Editorial Illustration, Book Cover Design and 2017 Student Illustrator of the year. The winner of each category receives £3,000. An overall winner will also be selected to win an additional £5,000 and the 2017 Moira Gemmill Illustrator of the Year Prize.
The winning works will all be on display here in the V&A (Room 85 National Art Library) until August 2017. In the meantime, how do you think our judges will decide?
