This beautiful hand mirror is decorated using traditional najeonchilgi techniques. Najeonchilgi is a Korean handicraft wherein beautiful pieces of abalone shell are inlaid onto wood and lacquered to create decorative objects. The skill dates back to the Three Kingdoms period and continues to be a popular craft today.
