Details
The Poynter room at the V&A, part of the suite of Refreshment Rooms introduced by Sir Henry Cole in 1868, was decorated by painter Edward J. Poynter. Painted tiles depict women from classical literature, while the image seen on this badge is a detail from one of the intricate stained glass windows.
