Details
Mexican designer Iris De La Torre creates unique jewellery from her workshop in London, exploring the creative possibilities of plastic. With a focus on colour, playfulness and joy, De La Torre’s laser-cut acrylic pieces take influence from Mexican folklore and 1960s graphic design, with a modern spin. This brooch was created to celebrate the display of Queen Victoria’s coronet in the newly refurbished Jewellery Gallery.
Created exclusively for the V&A, to coincide with the re-opening of the Jewellery Gallery.
