“As a designer/maker, I spend great amount of time in the studio daily. It has almost became a second home now, so it was natural for me to imagine a tiny workroom showing part of my work progress and material. My work involves lots of leather cutting and joining all the little pieces together, creating angles, lines and geometric patterns inspired by traditional parquetry and mosaic. I would imagine the scene of tiny people, working on an ice-lolly shaped sculpture.”
“The patterns on the wall and floor are all made of leather and suede sheets as well – just like what I do for my design practice. Hopefully it could express the joy of handcraft.”
