Mary Quant revolutionised women’s fashion. Her brand was synonymous with the vibrant, optimistic spirit of the 1960s; Quant popularised the mini skirt and became Britain’s best-known designer. When sketching new designs, Quant would often doodle a little daisy to indicate that a piece needed something extra, but she didn’t know what. This sketch was developed to create the instantly recognisable daisy logo that adorned many Quant pieces. These pretty stud earrings give a nod to the spirit of the 60s and the fashion revolution that took place.
