From 18th century mantuas to haute couture, Ottoman kaftans to urban streetwear, the V&A Fashion Archive covers the awesome breadth of fashion history, capturing the diversity of human expression. Inspired by the everyday and the extraordinary, the V&A has selected three classic, timeless patterns – stripe, houndstooth and plaid – to create modish accessories that reflect this style legacy. This chic cardholder is made by a 3rd-generation Scottish company from digitally printed recycled leather, obtained from industrial glove and bag off-cuts, making use of material that would ordinarily be discarded. The holder has four slots for cards and the V&A logo embossed on the back.
