Wooden hare decoration

Ariana Martin is a pattern designer and printmaker from Yorkshire, whose work is inspired by 20th century graphic and textile design.

This festive decoration is made from sustainably forested birch plywood and hung with waxed cotton twine. Ariana was particularly inspired by the shapes and colours found in Grace Gabler's book 'A Child's Alphabet', published in the 1940s and held in the V&A Collection.
