Iconic surrealist Salvador Dali was invited to bring his mastery of fantastical imagery to the magical realm of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland in 1969, when publishers Random House commissioned twelve lithographs for an exclusive edition of the book. Lewis Carroll’s strange and wonderful characters and scenes were perfectly matched by Dali’s fantastic visualisations.
